"Acrobatik: Batik Beauty"
(66.5 by 85 inches, 1999) was designed and pieced by Judy Martin and quilted
by Jean Nolte. This pretty quilt gets its nontraditional look from seven
contemporary prints (including several batiks) from Hoffman, Benartex, and
Moda. Its dimensional quality comes from the use of two shades each of lilac,
purple, and khaki. The pinwheels are quilted with slender ferns. The batting
is Hobbs organic cotton. Complete instructions for this quilt are included
