"Wilderness Log Cabin:
Thanksgiving " (90 by 90 inches, 1999) was designed and pieced by Judy Martin
and quilted by Jean Nolte. The fabrics include Everlasting Prints and Georgetown
from Moda and some Civil War prints by Judie Rothermel from Marcus Brothers.
The stars are built right into the Log Cabin blocks. Judy arranged the blocks
into a star center surrounded by a Barn Raising pattern. Jean quilted in
the ditch around the stars, in parallel lines in the border background,
and diagonally across the logs for a skewed effect. The batting is Hobbs
organic cotton with scrim. Complete instructions for this quilt are included
