  "Kaleidscopic IX: Public Radio Daze" (44 by 84 inches, 1992) was machine pieced from cottons, cotton blends, and silks, then hand quilted. "As I work," Paula says, "I listen to public radio and become saturated with gray-colored stories of suble intricacy, detailed with touches of brilliant humor and flashes of bright hope."
