This gorgeous, full-length
coat was pieced and quilted by Myrna Giesbrecht, who models it here. She
fondly calls it "That Coat" now, but didn't think too kindly of
it while it was under construction. She make it for a presentation to her
fellow quilters in Merritt, British Columbia, in April of 2000. "Nothing
like the stress of talking to an almost-local group!" she laughs. The
coat features extensive beading, paper piecing, and traditional piecing.
