SARA NEPHEW'S QUILT SHOW

Sara Nephew has developed a series of rotary-cutting tools and patterns to make gorgeous quilts based on 60-degree (equilateral) triangles. In the process she has discovered new ways to make classics such as Tumbling Blocks, Feathered Star, and faux appliqué designs. Sara refers to her method of piecing blocks from the center out, in threes, as "three-sided patchwork."

Please click on the following thumbnails to view large versions of the quilts and to read details about their inspiration and construction. Please note that the larger images may take a minute or two to download, because we want you to enjoy the best possible view of these extraordinary artworks.
