I encourage my students to just get started on their projects. Sometimes we fret too much and don't let our minds relax enough to be creative.
Always view your quilts or Snippet projects from a distance. Hang them on the wall and view them from about 10 feet away.
If you're stuck, leave the project alone for the day and take a fresh look at it the next morning.
