Shipping Information

Our Shipping and Handling Charges

Effective 8/30/2007 we have raised our shipping rates to compensate for the increase in shipping costs from the recent rate increases. The following list shows how we now determine your shipping cost.

Questions and comments about our shipping rate changes can be directed to service@sewandquilt.com.

Ground shipments within the United States (up to 10 business days) - $6.00 plus 10% of the order total.
Rush/3-day shipments within the United States - $7.00 plus 20% of the order total. If you request 3 day shipping please add the 48 hours for fulfillment. You may expect your order in 5 days.
Shipments to Canada - $18.00 plus 15% of the order total.
International shipments(Outside Canana and US) - $18.00 plus 25% of the order total.

Please note that we cannot mark international parcels at "gift" as it is against postal regulations in the United States to misrepresent customs documents.

International and Wholesale Orders

You will no longer have to approve the shipping rates. What you see on your order is what you will be charged from us unless we contact you prior to shipping. We hope that this will help eliminate the confusion about shipping charges and will eliminate any delay in shipping the order.

Please note: International shipments may be subject to taxes and fees charged by the receiving country. According to our laws, we must fill out customs forms to ship outside the United States based on the value of the items shipped.

For information or questions regarding fees and taxes for orders shipped to Canada, contact Canada Customs at 1-800-668-5695.

When We Ship

Our goal is to ship your complete order within 3 - 4 business days of receipt. Note: We do not ship on weekends. Our shipping department is not open on Saturday, Sunday or national holidays, so please take that into consideration when placing your order, especially rush orders. We make every effort to ship rush orders the day they are received. Orders placed after 1:00pm Pacific time may be shipped the following day.

We do not bill your credit card until the order is shipped.

Orders are shipped via UPS, Priority Mail, or Global Priority Mail, whichever is best for your order. If you need to make special shipping arrangements (for example, next-day or second-day delivery), please contact us before placing your order and we will be happy to assist you.
